    boy those gn guy's are all the same. they don't like it when you start talkin bout their cars. and i dont know where he lives, but in the summer i see buicks running around here all the time. at least the buick is an american car.

    lightly means smoothed the rough intake runner walls. didn't open them up, just smoothed them out. nothing done to combustion camber at all. no gasket match or anything of the sort. that said, what gets done to them this winter depends on mow much money i got :D

    thanks blackvert. i couldnt believe the #'s when it was all said and done, and even my tuner said he's never seen a stock cam car do that. i didn't think you were bashing the #'s. i'm gonna throw a b-cam or a custom grind at it with some long tubes this winter and see what she does then...

    this thread has got me re-thinking about going with a 347. seems like alot of money for so little gain over what i already make with a stock bottom end 302. maybe it's just me expecting more than i should be. i guess i'll just rebuild what i got and drop a procharger on it and be done with it...

    should be around 300 if tuned correctly,,and yes, very close to 300 without a cam is possible.

    the ford racing ones i saw at summit's site are short. and, i'm not saying your wrong yellow1995cobra, but the only ones kooks has on their site are for a foxbody. i checked stainless works and they dont have anything for 94-95, not even for a 5.0.

    i'm doing the swap this winter and i've been looking for long tubes and i have not been able to find any long tubes. went to bassani, site says they have them, don't say if they are long, short or list a price. mac don't have them. kooks dont have them. they all have them for fox cars but not...

    Hood clearence issue with GT40 intake and fox TB???

    should fit without any issues at all. i run a trick flow track heat with a 3/8 spacer, but i had to take off my hood blanket. i dont know why ford put the t-bird intake on them when the fox intakes would have. the only reason i can think of is the strut brace ford put on them from the factory.

    thanks again for the help here guys, but now i have a delema on my hands. my girl told me she would flip the bill for a procharger p1sc or pay for all the stuff i would need to do the swap. she is awesome but she just threw a wrench into my plans and i have to decide which way to go.

    thanks for the help guys,i'm seriously considering this swap this winter.i mean the motor is free,how could i go wrong with that?i cant.summit carries some shorties for the 95 cobra R,you think those would be allright to use?

    it is a roller block. not sure what year it is though. i'll try to find out. it would be a winter project. gonna put the b cam in the car now and see what hp i end up with and be done with it till winter.
