    That's part of what I want to do, get a wider rim for a wider tire. For more power! :D:D Guess it's the drivability/noise issue. Didn't notice much going from the 17s to the 18s. But I guess the 18 to 20 jump is the big difference.

    Mine does this too, but I believe it only goes up to 1500ish or so. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Hood struts

    I have the CDC like Kooldawg. The one issue I do have with them is the fact if the wind blows, the hood can catch. The prop rod goes into the hood and prevents this. So if you're into showing your car, be weary.
