    Well I just read the whole thread from MD. None of those guys has used the tool and the zip tie idea was just a idea not a confirmed way of doing it. Give it a whirl, but I'll do mine the old fashioned way.

    The first tool Nick showed, is the one I used when I did my cams. Its very simple to use. Now that second tool is one I'd leave to a expert, because if you screw up the timing you'll be doing the job a second time.

    I've got a 98GT too and just did the same upgrade to mine in November. I left the rears stock for now since rear brakes do so little of the braking I figured it was no big deal. But when I do upgrade I will just get new parts from Disc Brakes are Us again, because they are very easy to work...

    I never said the Novi 2k was better for the street just what I can afford. Besides for $5K I would go Turbo, and answer yes to your questions.

    Your right about end cost being comparable, but going with the Novi I don't have to pay as much up front. I don't like putting speed parts on my CC's so I pay cash up front. And since I'm going with water injection rather then an IC I'll save a little that way too.
