    Tires too small... continued (pics)

Where can I get them for $170 (PM if necessary)? If I'm in this car for a couple more years shocks and struts seem like a good investment. Thanks!

    Tires too small... continued (pics)

Worry Bee thats me I always overanalyze pretty much everything, but it usually ends up for the best since I've been convinced one way or the other having no regrets. I can't seem to feel good about anything other than the fact that it needs to be lowered, but with what for my current...

Steeda over C Springs? They look to have about the same amount of lowering (1" to 1 1/4"). Is there any reason other than the brand name of Steeda that these should be considered a better fit for my purpose? Thanks for your advise!

Very funny... but true nonetheless :D If the B springs advertise a 1.2" front 1" rear drop should I consider cutting the springs at all for the extra 1/4" or so? or go with different springs? Here is the link to them... Ford Racing B Springs

    Tires too small... continued (pics)

If you caught my original post First Thread you know I'm not happy with the new wheels and tires I put on (sizes the problem, not the quality of the products): Deep Dish Bullitts - 18x10 rear 18x9 front Kuhmo Ecsta MX - 295/35/18 rear 275/35/18 front So far I can tell that the Kuhmos are...

    20,000 maintenance what to do?

I second that... I would also like to hear what general maintenance, replacements, etc would be recommended. I just put on new wheels, tires, and an exhaust system so I want to make sure it drives like it should. Thanks!

    18 x 10 saleen replicas with 315 / 30 tires??

315's maybe - consider Kumho Kuhmo Ecsta MX I just put on Kuhmo Ecsta MX 295/35/18's on new Bullitt replica 18x10's today (18x9 front with 275/35/18). I'm happy so far with them except for the gigantic space they left under the wheel wells :bang: The width is sweet from the rear view...

Argh... My new tires look small :(

Final call... for now. I made a decision and went with the Ford Performance B springs. I wanted to keep a more 'stock' feel since it is a daily driver and not a drag racer.. unless I'm tempted of course :stick: ...or is it the other way around ;) That should lower it 1.25" front and 1"...

Argh... My new tires look small :(

It would be great to get confirmation that the 275/35's wouldn't rub up front. The C springs profess a 1.2" drop up front and a 1" drop in the rear. I read some posts where GT owners confirmed that they had 275's and were lowered without rubbing problems. Of course I can't find those posts...

Argh... My new tires look small :(

Already used... I used this calculator every step of the way during my decision process. The problem I didn't take into account is the additional empty space in the wheel well. I don't mind the tires, just they way they look on the tire. Lowering springs seem to be the best idea - how much...

Argh... My new tires look small :(

Good info For simplicity sake, would I be OK with just the Ford C springs? I heard that the camber is adjustable in the '03 GT so should this be all I need? Thanks!

Argh... My new tires look small :(

Suspension parts and more! Since I'm looking at the C springs, gefracing.com shows other related items like the Bump Steer Kit, Caster Camber Plates, and Offset Rack Bushings. Are these 'niceties' or something I can't live without together with the springs? Also, how does a rough estimate of...

What about the Bullitt suspension kit? Bullitt Suspension Kit What about this kit instead of the C springs? I'm just thinking that if I'm replacing the springs anyway it might be easier to do other suspension mods at the same time. Is there a better setup instead of this? Sorry to switch...

Argh... My new tires look small :(

Other suspension mods while replacing springs? Sounds like a good idea since it is too late to consider the 40's. Is there anything else that can be done to the suspension at the same time as the springs that could save me another trip to the mechanic? Thanks! :nice:

Argh... My new tires look small :(

digging for more.. I'd rather lower it a little with the springs than replace the tires if it will look good. I swear I've seen Stangs with the same tire combo and they look great! Can I safely assume they were lowered? There are a couple guys in these forums that posted pics and they look...

Argh... My new tires look small :(

? Aren't we talking more about the sidewall height than the width? Forgive me if I'm a little confused, but I'm far from being considered a tire expert. I do believe that the 315's would raise the sidewall a little, but would it be enough to fill the larger than life gap above the sidewall...

I thought I did my research, but I guess I was wrong. Today I had my new wheels and tires put on my '03 GT. Here is the setup: Wheels: Wheelreplica's Deep Dish Bullitt's - Anthracite Wheel Front: Wheelreplica's Bullitt 18x9 Kuhmo Ecsta MX 275/35R18 Rear: Wheelreplica's Bullitt...

    Are Nitto NT555's drag radials?

Look at Kuhmo Wouldn't hurt to look into the Kuhmo Ecsta MX's. I did a lot of research and convinced myself that they would be a great all around tire (not strictly racing) for the money. I have 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. Good price point and decent treadlife. I should take delivery tomorrow...
