    looking thru CJ Pony Parts online. p/n HW1279. type 3 is right rotation, while type 3a is left rotation. will i have to take out the gear to match?? and, is SC16 the right cable? it says concourse correct and fits all factory type transmissions. is the 4-speed T10 factory?!

    shop guys put a 160* t-stat for my 289 stroked 347. car has a FLUIDYNE 3-row alum radiator + Flex-a-Lite all steel 6-blade fan. is this good for the South Florida heat? will it wear the engine out faster and waste more fuel as mentioned by Fast63?

    Update is there a problem with the intake gasket over the water jet passages (see boxed areas in red)? will gasket material get into the radiator?

    D.Hearne, which Holley carb are you referring to? this one - a Holley 4160 adjustable float (Part #0-81850C)? and thanks, i will stick with the di-chromate finish.

    Bolt-on vs. weld-on subframe connectors

    you can get the bolt on sub-frames, then weld them later on. you have your choice of name brands: TCP, Global West, and Competition Engineering. TCP has extras that can be attached to their sub-frames.
