    Yo "Mr.Woodster"...

:rlaugh: Those are some pretty tough words there Joe. You sure you wana make a call-out like that? I've learned over the years that doing that over the web won't get you anything but trouble. How do you know that the person you're insulting over the internet isn't 6'5" tall and 255 lbs...

See Joe, People here actually drive their cars on the road. We're not talking about some trailer queen that makes a pass and then gets shut down. Street cars actually experience Heat Soak. Try holding a 4 gauge starter wire while the motor is being cranked after making a long trip. It's...

Like I said, Don't listen to Joe here. Just use the zero gauge wire method and you'll be fine.

lol, Joe, I already know where it goes. See, I don't have to research this. I built the car myself remember? I went to the library and scanned the book, brought it home and wired the car up. Don't bother researching something I already know the answer to. Maybe you need a picture? Or...

ok,ok. You never said it word for word, but I forgot to put the "~" sign in front of it. How's this: ~If the factory cables weren't sufficient, do you think that Ford would've used them? Or how bout this: ~If the intercooler wasn't sufficient, do you think that Ford would've used it? Or...

This has got to be some of the dumbest junk I've ever read. Joe, don't you use a motor plate/solid motor mount in your car? It's a little different when a motor is supported by rubber and isolated from the frame. You've already proven that you don't know what the hell you're talking...

First off, who only runs a 4 gauge wire when they're trying to improve the cabling of the car? The idea here is to use something better for cables than the factory used. I'll give a brief example of how it should be: Use zero gauge welding cable for your positive line from your battery to...

Joe, The INJECTOR HARNESS has a short wire that grounds to the intake manifold. It is the ground for the ECU's positive wires going to the injectors. Without that ground, the engine wouldn't run. This is a factory wire.

Why does the injector harness ground directly to the motor? The motor needs the Best ground wire you can give it. What could cause a need for this? Maybe a STARTER MOTOR? Perhaps? When grounding your motor, you should use a 2 gauge or better cable directly to the battery. This helps the...

2.3 N/A tear down complete, Taking suggestions on what to put back in it

First, you need to give a rough price range that your working with. THEN we can help point you in the correct direction. Stay away from the volvo head. It's work. I'm thinking along the lines of: turbo pistons, rings, bearings. Log header, used T3. Tbird computer and vam. injectors...

    Yo "Mr.Woodster"...

Yea Joe. Follow along here. That's the plan. Let's see, the paint should be done by mid May. Then I get to drive my car again. All the while, I'm building another car. This is all done by me. Not friends, not sponsors, not Essfinger. "slapping it"?? Joejoe, I'd rather be slapping it...

Oh, Joe, I read it. It's just sadly wrong. A seat will fall out if you weld your head? Come on. I've seen damaged heads that had to have the entire combustion chamber welded back up from dropping a valve. "the seat will fall out" lol. No Kidding? Ever heard of putting it back in and fixing it...

So what your saying is, you see nothing wrong with Essmaster selling a single head for 3,500 dollars? Do you know what kind of quality head you can get for a small or bigblock ford for half that? We're talking almost four thousand dollars here. For ONE head. OR, I could weld a $1.25 piece of...

Now Joe, Here's your second big chance! Instead of ragging on my car, that beat your non-nitrous'd time, How about you tell everyone why a piece of aluminum can't be welded to the back of an aluminum head. Please. Please. Does aluminum not stick to aluminum when TIG welded? The suspense is...

    Yo "Mr.Woodster"...

See Joe, it's a simple concept. My car is a Street car. It runs on the Street. It has a tag and drives on the highway. It's not some 1/4 mile only car that was built with other people's time and money using bolt on parts. I have no goal to turn it into a methanol burning 1/4 mile queen. What...
