    I'd like an all stainless system 2.5 mandrel bent with 3.5" tips. I'm considering switching to Bassani SS mufflers, but I don't want to pay 6-700 for their catback. I can get a pair of their mufflers for $189. Any help would be appreciated. WAde

    Try going to bassani's website, getting a carb number, and taking it to a shop. X-Press Lube in Calabasas will smog you if you have that. Wade

    I'm "out here in cali" too. I was just at a smog shop and as long as the aftermarket pipe has a carb number on it (which magnaflow, bassani and most others do), they will pass you as long as the cats pass sniffer. Wade

    I went from bullitt springs and tokico shocks to H&R SuperRace Springs (stiffest ones they make) and Bilstein HD's in the rear. Ride quality improved. Bilstein makes the best dampers out there next to Koni.

    I run 265/35/18 front and 275/35/18 rear. The rear size is the stock diameter so it won't affect your speedometer. 285/35/18 will also fit fine in the rear. Wade

    The Rear 03 cobra shocks only work on IRS. The front struts will work fine for your car, and according to MM they are valved better than the 00 Cobra R struts (which I run). With 10k on them, they hold up fine. Bilstein ***** has a lifetime warranty for a reason. Wade

    Where in CA are you? The best thing is to ask a performance shop (like maybe the one who installed your supercharger assuming you didn't) where they recommend you go for smog. Most performance shops know of people who could pass you most likely. Wade

    :nonono: Careful with advice like this. Truth be told, some X pipes sound bad with chambered mufflers, but not all. The Magnaflow catted X for instance sounds very smooth with 2 chamber flows and actually has ZERO rasp believe it or not. I know b/c I've run the combo for 3 years. Wade

    Shouldn't be a problem as long as you order them with an offset. I love the delta 40's with my magna x pipe, very smooth. but, also consider some bassani mufflers. Wade
