Install advice for 66 coupe trunk seal.

Take your time is the key. Ford used the yellow glue, and if you are careful no one will ever see it, although Ford wasn't so picky about that. I like to put the seal on with the decklid off the car. Since adjustment will be required with the new seal anyway, removing it is no big deal. Oddly...

TMI seat foam install in a '67 ???

I have done lot of seats, and I can tell you that the cardboard-sleeved list wire is first ringed to the serpentine springs, then the foam is ringed to the sleeved wire, Then the list wire in the upholstery is ringed through the foam to the sleeved wire, then the bolsters are wrapped and ringed...

    Burned 67 Mustang GT cv

I'm going to disagree with the group. I see little evidence of "intense heat" that would make the car unrepairable. Intense heat would have destroyed the ignition wires, not soiled them. The drivetrain was probably undamaged. Remember, heat rises. The top of things, such as the roof and cowl got...

    Fold down rear seat.

It's a lot of expensive work. That list above, lengthy as it is, has left off a significant number of hard-to-find parts.

    65 wiring question

This diagram? http://www.hammar.dyndns.org/~djhamma/wiring/1965/1965c.jpg Before unwrapping anything, disconnect the firewall plugs, and see if the power is getting to the firewall, and whether it is shorting.

If you look closely at those NOS bulbs, you'll see the all-too-common paint flaking off.

    Pushrods for guideplates

Yes, the stock 63-66 (before change level 11) pushrods should work just fine. They were hardened, because they relied on integral pushrod guide slots in the head. After CL 11, the 289 2V and 289 4V used "rail" rockers, with guides on the tip keeping the tip aligned. The 289HP continued to use...

Cut Out Full Length Floor Pans Twist Warp

As long as the car is evenly supported and level, you'll be fine. I would reconsider the two long pans, though. I did mine this way, 20 years ago, but now that the one-piece OEM style floor is available, that's the best way to do this. It's actually less work than the two long pans, and the...

    68 mustang sidemarker bulb.

Glazier/Nolan stocks them. Your local store probably doesn't bother, because, as far as I know, the 1178A was only used in the 68 Mustang marker light. Not exactly a swift-moving shelf item.

    Wheel/tire fitment help

Backspace is critical. But size matters, and I don't see how a 275 will fit on the back no matter what offset you have- Mustang Wheel and Tyre Chart

    67 mustang power steering

If you pickup used OEM PS parts, and rebuild them yourself, that's probably the cheapest route. You'll need to become very familiar with the parts, though, to be sure you are getting the right year parts. Don't use cheap universal hoses, they rarely work as well as the OE style ones.

    New guy on deployment

The H code came with single exhaust, even on a mach1. Naturally, people added duals like crazy to any V8 Mustang. Ford may still be doing their info program, but if not, you'll have to pay Marti a few bucks.

    New guy on deployment

Ah, good eye, I had to follow the link to catch it. But I'll take a contrary view. Unless there is evidence that a plenum was once installed, I'm betting it never had ram air. Probably less than 10% of the scoop hoods had it, and since only the 2V could order it in 73, not many people cared...

    68 mustang replacing door handles

With one of these. About $5 from Glazier/Nolan. Remove the door and window handles, and the arm rest. The pry up each panel clip. Exhaust Leak Help

Ford engines were not equipped with exhaust manifold gaskets from the factory. You'll have to detach the LH motor mount and raise the engine somewhat to have any hope of removing the manifold with the engine installed. You sure it's not a leaky donut? That'd be easier to fix.
