My 1994 GT Mustang Aode to T5 Conversion w/PICS!

You could take a stock handle and heat it up to slightly bend it back until you're happy with it.

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

You'll need at least a 40 amp relay to operate the stock fan. That 30 amp setup in your link will eventually melt down. The 40 amp relay that we already have is really too small for this application, but it does last 15 years on average so I'd say it's ok.

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

If everything is working up to and going out of the CCRM then you have a wiring issue plain and simple. So you need to either change the wiring from the CCRM to the fan or inspect it closely and find the problem with it and repair it.

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

When you ground out # 17 did you check for output signal from the CCRM high speed fan circuit?

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

Yes I was until I installed a new relay into the CCRM. Since the fan is working properly now I haven't tested the wires again.

Current Before And After Pics Of My Project :)

Too bad horizontals aren't available for new edge cars! (even though in reality horizontals do NOTHING to commemorate or pay homage to the original Mustang)

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

I know when I was testing my fan circuits there were times when both high and low leads going to the fan were hot!

Current Before And After Pics Of My Project :)

Yup, and that's why I solved that little issue myself.. Now I can enjoy my 5.0 AND enjoy the lines of a new edge at the same time!

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

Yeah, the little "fix" that Ford did with the recall deal. Any SN95's I've bought with those on them I immediately chuck them into the trash! They only serve to overheat your engine.

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

What's weird about mine is I have fixed the relay inside the CCRM and it has been working, but sometimes the high speed fan is lazy after I first start my car with the A/C on. Yesterday the computer allowed my engine to get over the halfway point before finally triggering the fan to come on...

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

Or get it tuned to come on earlier like I did :) Jordan, don't go around leaving your ECT unplugged, the computer will be blind to how warm/cold the engine is causing your AFR to be way off, fuel economy will go to crap!

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

you have to eliminate the CCRM then you work backward from there. If you unplug the ECT sensor the high speed fan should come on by default.

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

If you can get the fans to come on by triggering the CCRM then that means it is good and there is a fault between the computer and the CCRM.

    Turbo Question

I don't need to run a shop to see the successes of a less picky operation, the place that tuned my car is living proof that it makes no difference what year the car is. And an 04 GT with a little over 100k miles is NOT an old car. Some shops have just gotten too used to tuning brand new cars...

    Electrical Fan Spins Intermittently

I've never seen Mustang fans come on while the car is off.

    Turbo Question

How about his MAF? If it pegs it will go lean as well. That's what mine did so I had to use a MAFia on it. And WTF is up with dyno shots using the STD correction factor instead of SAE? My tuner did the same thing during my last visit.

    Turbo Question

Yeah, but without seeing the vehicle in question Steeda didn't "know" there was going to be an undesirable outcome. Hell man, I've seen brand spankin' new cars let go on the dyno. Chances are, if a little 302 has made it past 100k miles without smoking or knocking, it's pretty sound. But it...

    Turbo Question

Let us know how that goes! I just can't stand when tuning shops turn away people for stupid reasons. It really shows their incompetence! I mean seriously, how many cars made 04 and prior have less than 100k miles on them? What we have here is the refusal of shops to learn how to tune OBD 1...
