    15 or Less MPG? Something Wrong?

    I was on a drive last week, and Reset the Avg. MPG just after I got on a local 4-lane route. Set the Cruise to 62 mph (posted 55 area), and after 20 min. I was reading 28 mpg! It held that number for quite a while, too. :nice: Not bad for 353 rwhp! :D

    Any more detailed information about the car? How much boost? Wheels and tires used? Any suspension upgrades? ;) Half-mile goes by pretty quick at 90-110 mph! :D This might be a dumb question, but if he was running 80-110 the whole time, was the supercharger even needed? I found out...

    Blind Spot Mirrors for 2010 models

    Even with the built-in mirrors on the 2011, I bought the round, 2" spot mirrors and stuck them in the corners on top of the built-in ones (then covered the corners of the built-in ones with black tape). The little, inset ones didn't cover enough area for me, and I've used the 2" round ones on...

    Hi guys, My SCCA group had a "Dyno Day" today, so I got a FREE shot at the dyno! My Mustang is a 2011 GT, bone stock, 89 oct. gas. (91 would be stronger!) WX was about 50 deg. (felt a lot colder!), 15% humidity, Dynojet Dyno. Run made in 3rd gear because it's an auto-trans, so the numbers...

    Epi- thanks for the note! Can you tell me where the axle vent is? This is my first Mustang. ;) FYI: Prior to mine going out, I had NO fluid leaks anywhere. I park it in my garage on a clean concrete floor, and there were NO drips on it anywhere.

    Got my car back today! :banana: The service mgr. explained everything they did to find/fix the issue... quite a lot! They checked out the diff. and everything seemed okay there. Then they swapped my drive shaft with one from a brand-new Mustang off their lot. Tested both cars for noises and...

    Update - vibration issue. Well, I have about 700 mi. on the car, and still have a small vibration at highway speeds. I also have an occasional vibration when slowing down (engine braking) from 40 mph or so. I took it back in to the dealer yesterday, and the tech. who fixed it the first time...

    Fox body drifting...

    Drifting on pavement is "good" (terrific car control, there!), but when things get dirty, muddy and frozen, THAT'S when drifting really gets good! :nice: 2003 STI Rally Highlights Cobra- Yeah... Best Wishes and sincere condolences to all those affected in Japan by this disaster. :(

    Can daughter fit in back seat? ('11/'12)

    I sat in the back seat, with my salesman in the front seat when I was trying out the Mustang, and it does work well enough for my purposes. (5'10", 175lbs.) If I stretch up straight, my head can touch the roof, but I have to "try" to do it. Frankly, I'd be more concerned about small kids in car...
