New guy, things to look for?

I drive my 68 every day, work, store, movies whatever. A car is only reliable as the person who built it and the person who maintains it. Shop well before choosing, get pictures and ask here for feedback, you'll be pointed the right direction :nice:

Correct LED turn signal wiring questions..

If you're going with non sequential LEDs and are just going for brighter than stock, your flasher should be fine. However if you're going for sequentials you'll be needing a new unit. On the other hand if you enjoy the cheap insurance of replacing a possibly 45 year old electrical part, knock...

1966 Coupe - Looking for Radio Advice

My brother put one of those Custom Autosound USA6 radios in his fastback. It's nice to look at, but it doesn't work, it was BARELY used. I've heard a lot of similar complaints about the lifespan of CAS radios, I won't be going that route if I decide to drop my DIN radio

Part out or sell as a roller?

I agree, sell as a roller. You'll give the car a much greater chance of life if you keep it intact, as opposed to being a nice new roof or front end for somebody's hack job:notnice:

    chin spoiler

Agreed. For example, I think T's fastback looks bitchin with the spoiler on the front. Put one on my coupe..... not so bitchin anymore

quick questions for the welding experts

The most important thing to maintain a good quality weld starts long before you fire up your machine, prep work! Fear not the wire wheel (unless you can't find gloves), clean up the weld area with a vengance. Make sure any gaps are even for good penetration without blowing through. Grab some...

    Grant Signature Series wheels?

I along with many of you, I'm sure, am victim to the lousy design that is Grant's classic horn button. I have the black rubber-foam wheel thing, which looks ok, but I haven't heard my horn since I rigged it up for inspection the last time they bothered to check. Has anyone tried the Grant...

cleveland builders and gurus please help

If you use said heads, look into torque plates. They fit into the intake runner to help the lack of air velocity. I'd also dump the Torker and try a more feasible cam profile. Just my .02, not saying your combo wouldn't give me a grin during WOT, just would be no fun for a driver Another thing...
