    I did it without discharging the A/C. Dash pulled out as far as I could without disconnecting too much. Pried open the top of the box, and was able to swap it out. Took me about 7 hours by myself.... Take your time.... Dennis

    I actually remember that when they announced this manifold in the mags, they said a 94-95 specific manifold was coming. That was a couple years ago, though. I don't thnk the elbow is the problem on these manifolds and stock 94-95 hoods. Probably the passenger side front of the upper manifold...

    Didn't that article also say that on a Supercharged car, there was no way the BBK would out do the Holley SystemMax, which is supposed to be the best "Stock-type" manifold for Supercharged cars? Now, personally, I think it's a gimmick manifold. It's great that BBK is investing money in 5.0...

    It just amazes me how much he's leaned out the top of his MAF curve. He went from 875 at the top to 1458. And the whole rest of the curve has been leaned out. I though he'd replaced the MAF, and was using the flowsheet....

    Very interesting. I should do the same for mine. I see the fuel enrichment function that I haven't touched yet. What is your MAF cal'd for, 30's? My 36 numbers peak at around 1650~ish. I haven't booted Windows in DAYS. I only use it for Caledit and EA anymore. Too bad I haven't figured them...

    The process I laid out here only took a couple of hours. IT was definitly not hard. Much cheaper than buying ANOTHER chip... It'd take that much time to do the swap, and have a tune made.... Dennis

    EGR Tube not fitting???

    Get some 5/8's copper tubing. Cut your old tube in half to get the nuts off. bend up a new one out of the copper tubing, and then put the nuts on and flare the ends..... It'll hold up fine. Mine's been on for 3-4000 miles... Others on here maybe longer....

    Ok, you can have your opinion. Yes, my takeoff problems are due to the combination of a light flywheel and 2.73 gears. I don't know why we are arguing over this. Again, the point was that an injected engine would run without a TB. Oh well, if you WANT to play with these engines...

    EXACTLY! By putting the 75mm on there, now it's NOT the restriction anymore, something else is. The heads or the intake or the MAF or the intake tube or the air filter, etc.... So on a stock engine you MAY get more air, but it really depends. So, then, how can it really matter if the TB is 5 or...

    And really the only reason to use it as a BYPASS instead of a BLOW-OFF is if all this happens AFTER the MAF. If the MAF is AFTER the BYPASS/BLOWOFF, it can vent to the atmosphere...

    My only issue is to make sure to rev it high enough to get the car rolling. If I don't, it'll stall. That's due to the gears and flywheel. What's an AFW? You mean flywheel? A diesel will have a tube from an air cleaner to the throttle opening, but there is no throttle body. Engine speed...
