    Are you sure about that, because stock LS1's are low 13's and your '05 GT with all those mod's is still over 13.5

    Even if the LS1 Vette was a "lowly" auto, it would have shot ahead of an '05GT without a problem. Something's not right with this sotry because the LS1 Trans Am's don't have problems with our '05 GT's, especially on the highway.

    You need alot of mod's to hang with a Trans Am, let alone beat one. If you can get that Supercharger you will be in Trans Am territory.

    To funny as last night we had an '02 Cobra run 14.2 then 14.0 Most of the stock GT's were 14.3ish while the LS1's were all low 13's. Mind you these are for STOCK class.

    QDRHRSE --> Stock for stock the Camaro's almost two seconds quicker then your 89 LX. If you put similar mod's into a Camaro, it would still be that much faster... LS1's are not to be toyed with.

    Well, if your deciding against the '02 T/A or an '05 Trans Am your going to get about the same power ratio (stock). However, with near the same HP, the old LS1 Trans Am's were still faster all thru the powerband and especially after second gear.

    For everything you wrote, get the LS1. Those Trans Am's and Camaro's are ridiculously fast.
