    1964 1/2 starter

I'm aware of the differences. I just find it annoying to hear people call it a 64 1/2 when such a thing never actually existed. I might as well say I have a '66 3/4 cause my car was a later production date. I guess it's one of my pet peeves of us so called "enthusiasts" who can't get it...

    1964 1/2 starter

There are no 64.5 Mustangs. Vin-Tags state year as 1965 model. Maybe you can make a better claim as to an early '65 versus late '65 but there are truly no "64.5" Mustangs anywhere.

The person playing Devil's advocate is saying that in the event that the shoulder bolt breaks the belt won't act as a 2 pt. It will have too much slack in it and act as nothing and you'll get thrown through the windshield.

    Aluminum vs Copper Radiators

Just another opinion. If you're not going councours pick yourself up an electric fan and shroud. I have one on my '66 and have no problems. Granted I have an aluminum radiator. In addition pick up an electric thermostat control for the fan. It's really nice and only kicks on when really...

    shock absorber selection

I have the KYB Gas-Adjusts and they ride perfectly on my car. my '66 mustang has 650 front coils with shelby drop. 1" front swaybar. Rears are 5 leaf mid-eye's with a 1/2" sway bar. My car runs smooth as silk and soaks up the bumps nicely. I guess the only thing though is harshness is...

    Exhaust tips?

I saw you replace the valence with a GT valence and have the proper exhaust cutouts. I have 3" tips on my '66 with the GT valence and they fit fine. Look even better too and more finished.

    67 Mustang power steering problem

It's probably moreso a defect in the control valve. I would say maybe try using some washers as spacers or find a single washer with enough thickness to make up the difference. This is merely a suggestion to try though and I'm sure someone else will come along with a better answer.
