whats the oil guage actually tell me?

A little more light reading on this topic from the SOHC forum over on Corral; http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20741&highlight=pressure+sender From reading this thread, it looks like you could modify the stock setup on the 94/95 car's to get a functioning variable oil pressure...

whats the oil guage actually tell me?

Nope. When you buy the part from Ford, its actually listed as an oil pressure switch right on the box. The same switch is used from 94 to present day new stangs as far as I know. It's probably used on other Ford vehicles as well. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong on that last part...

whats the oil guage actually tell me?

Guys, On the 93 and earlier Mustangs, the stock oil pressure gauge did give variable oil pressure readings. The stock oil pressure gauge on the 94/95 Mustangs do not. The sender is a switch. It's either on or off just like a lightswitch. There's no debate here as this info is from the...

    Rattling in Gears?

Your cats could be on their way out. They're right beside your tranny, so that would account for you thinking of the gears. Is this noise really loud or is it a more subtle sound? The cats on my car are shot and are REALLY rattling right now (exactly like rocks in a can). I'm looking at...

    tranny mount mayhem

Exactly! The shifter was cocked slightly to the left when I bought my 95 GT. I discovered the motor mount was totally broken on the driver's side causing the whole driveline to tilt slightly to the left. (not to mention alot of vibration while driving!). I installed new motor mounts and...

Engine stalls, timing, distributor problems '95GT

Mine was doing that too. Now its really rattling all the time. I was hoping it was just a loose heat shield or something. I'm going to have to get under there to check it out. Is this a common problem for the 94/95 cars? Thanks

Engine stalls, timing, distributor problems '95GT

It's impossible for the distributor to be "one tooth off". The distributor could be removed and installed in a slightly different orientation requiring the number one terminal position to be at a slightly different clock angle. If that happened, just rotate the distributor a bit more until you...

    CAR NEEDS HELP, PLEASE DIAGNOSE??

Ok. What they replaced was the TFI (ignition) module. That definitely could have been the cause of your problems. Unfortunatly for you, it didn't fix the stalling problem. I'm still thinking ignition, so the other part of the equation is the Stator that I mentioned earlier. The Stator is...

    CAR NEEDS HELP, PLEASE DIAGNOSE??

Are you still not getting any spark when cranking the car? You need to clarify something with your mechanic. The "distributor module" that he replaced. Was it the TFI (ignition module underneath the air filter) or was it the stator (PIP sensor inside the distributor). From your...

    tps

 And that my friends, is how myths, rumours, urban legends and falsehoods start. :notnice: Just so everyone is clear. The 94/95 car's have many differences from earlier Fox car's. You can't assume that just because something worked on a Fox car, the procedure is going to be...

From the Corral thread that I posted above, pay close attention to what MFE and Stangplus2birds have to say. They are both EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the 94/95 PCM and how to tune it properly.
