    since we are on the subject of oil. I have a 1996 cobra and after i run the car for few miles and check oil its shows perfect. but after it sits for about 4-5 hours it shows a quart low. whats the true oil lvling reading after its ran or after all the oil has drained to pan?

    Im trying to scan my ecu in my 1996 cobra and cant find the plug in for the ecu I thought it was located under dash. or close fire wall under hood. is it located behind the passenger kick panel? and is that where I plug my scanner in?

    can you use a code scanner to scan for codes like a check engine light and then clear the code out so check engine light goes off or is there a certain type scanner you can use on these cars. I know my plug with scanner will plug in . just wondering if there is one just for the cobra.

    when I crank the car it feels like something is gonna come through the floor board at the exact moment I started like someone hit floor board with sledge hammer. then after it does that i dont feel anything but slight vibration.

    ok up date. got my big phat azz under the car and checked the motor mounts they looked good wouldlnt move under load. drive shaft doesnt vibrate or appears to be fine u-joints good tranny mounts seem good. but when I looked at the front end I noticed the lower ball joints where real bad rubber...

    well I may just order a aluminum drive shaft then to to solve that problem for shure. but guess ill try and crawl under it all 280 big man pounds of me and see what gives. hope the nascar jack I have holds up.

    when you say um I hate to say this word "motor" are you suggesting like motor mounts? or something in the motor it self? cause the motor purs like a kitten no noise or vibrations come from it while looking at it under a load or revs.
