    Just cut out/grind the internal ridges where the rockers hit and for extra height use a good thick gasket.I personally use summit rubber gaskets(.200 thick).Clears my 1.6rr and no leaks. I run stockers on mine after the above mods with no issues.

    fram filters are junk,i wouldnt use them on my mower. cut a fram open and cut a motorcraft (made by puralator) filter open.. No compairsion.

    If i had to choose a cam the tfs 1 wouldnt be it..To me the comp cam is a way better cam,not as cheap but works great.

    It would be nice to see a dyno compairson (real world not some dam magazine test).. But the only bad thing is not every combo is the same,even the same parts on a different (shortblock) engine will run different. 5spd gt -no problem on the posts.I can tell you i was more shocked than anyone...

    Already was a H/c/I car with shorties/tuned etc..The ONLY thing changed was going TO longtubes. Most run shorties due to emissions,fitament,hassles,heat etc..Sometimes cost due to already having some parts already on the car. You dont see factory stock cars running shorties..

    Best Pistons For Boost.

    cp diamond probe They all make good pistons. I have used cp and daimonds past the 600rwhp mark with good success. AS far as compression keep it around 9 ~9.5:1 .Car will be more friendly out of boost ,but yet not to high to run higher boost on.

    black majic fans are JUNK...And are not worth the money..My fox had one and it had trouble keeping a BONE stock 5.0 cool ,using the a/c was pointless the fan didnt draw enough air for it to work right. .For the money u would spend on that fan for another 100.00 you can get a mark viii...

    On a stock headed car you will probally LOSE power unless you install new springs .For the simple fact the stock valve springs are old ,have a lot of miles and can not handle the extra lift do to this.
