    Cams - Valve/Piston spacing

NPI pistons do not have a dish, thats why those motors are higher compression than PI motors.

    Getting hard to shift...

sounds like your clutch is out of adjustment. I would suggest picking up a firewall adjuster to help your clutch engage higher and it should help you slide into gear a bit better.

changing rod bearings with motor in car.

you are going to want to check the main bearings, not just the rods. And you may need to pull the crank. Much easier to just pull the motor.

    2002 V6 to V8 swap

I dont feel that the "it will be cheaper to just buy a GT is a good argument." Think about all the GT owners here that have put tons of money into their cars when maybe, "they shoulda bought a cobra." If he wants to do a project his own way, more power to him and I wish him good luck.:nice:

and the drain plugs are allen key type...I dont know the size off the top of my head sorry, but it is pretty big. Also, you asked if you could pull it with long tubes and you can as long as you have the type where the steering shaft doesn't go between the down pipes. If thats the case then...

Head Swap - Anything else I need to know?

yes drain the oil before you work on it...then change it again after the first 100 miles. you will need at least 2-3 gallons of coolant (not pre-mixed) drain the coolant out of the block using the block drain plugs. you will need to remove the motor mounts for this as these plugs are...
