    who? what? where am i?

haven't really been around here in ages, it seems. browsing around, i see a lot of new people and am pleased to see a lot of SN veterans still. i just moved back down to so-cal [Poway] and [i told myself i wasn't gonna cry...] i had to leave my 'stang in northern Cali. my pop lives in...

    Restomod e-brake.

did yours require any welding? i was jazzed when i read that VMF thread about the guy only spending $40 for the whole deal, but i have no access to a welder [nor do i know how to weld].

    EFI swap.

i would sooo jump on this! i'm not a chrome person, but you can't get a better deal than FREE. windsor-fox could probably give you some good info. notice the wiring harness link on the main page. wouldn't hurt to give them a call and let them know what you have access to in the way of...

    Restomod e-brake.

i started a thread like this ages ago, but didn't get much feedback. i don't think the thread still exists, i tried searching for it. but as long as you can route the cables, you can put it pretty much anywhere.

    Pertronix + MSD??

hehe, i had issues hooking up my MSD 6A box because of the Ignitor. it worked, just had to get creative. only problem was: that wasabout 2 years ago and i have no idea what i did. i'd really like to just replace my dist with the MSD billet so i can just plug and play [not to mention...

    T5 swap. Have questions

go with a late-model bellhousing. i didn't and it's driving me nuts because i bent a z-bar and clutch rods with my wicked clutch. and i can't use a hydraulic clutch setup because the clutch fork pushes the opposite direction from a clutch rod setup. or ... go a step up and do a hydraulic...

    Autometer Speedo

nice! i only have the fuel gauge for now and a friend is giving me a Voltmeter, but both are 2 1/16" and i really like the cleaner look of the 2 5/8". i hadn't thought of cutting the AutoMeter bezel off....hmmm. *sound of gears turning in my head*

    Autometer Speedo

i thought autometer made cables or adapters of some sort. what method are you using to fit the gauges? and is it the big 5" speedo? i'm in limbo with mine, but i am doing the autometer set in my dash. if you need any ideas, foghorn had some good pics of how he got his in. ultrastang did it...

Why doesn't anyone make billet grilles?

the lower mustangdepot grille looks kinda wierd. kinda looks huge, but i think it's the angle of the slats that make it look odd.

Why doesn't anyone make billet grilles?

i saw in a Mustang and Fords issue a while back there was a 67-68 grille made by [i believe] Kar Krafters or something like that. Auto Krafters? monkey in a jar? i don't remember...

    Lower 69 Mach

it just seems like that wouldn't come into play when it's in a straight line... i dunno. i like physics, tho, so i want to figure this out! i'll play with that formula more....

    Advantages of a 5.0?

5.0's are metric, which as we all know is superior to a 302 since the metric system is better than the american standard.... that being said, modifying an inline-6 to a V8 at all is a lot of work, from what i've read on this forum. the 5.0/302 motor is almost idendical to a 289 on the outside...

    Lower 69 Mach

as i understand it, anything past those 1" lowering springs is too much for the shelby drop. the negative wedge kit would be worth the money if you want it lower. darkBuddha: how would cutting the springs increase the spring rate? you aren't changing the properties of the metal, just...

    Radiators

i'd be worried about spillage. when it leaks, and it will eventually, oil is worse than a mixture of water and antifreeze since there's usually more water than antifreeze. how does oil's freezing temp compare with water/antifreeze mix? and would the oil flow quickly enough? i don't really...

ia a 64-65 smaller than the rest?

64 1/2 thru 66 are same body style. 67-68 are a lil more beefy. 69-70 are beefier still and kinda "buff" lookin. after that, they're just plain big.
