    honestly i couldnt tell that much of a difference. When me and my friend did the spring install on my GT i was careful with it like i was a brain surgeon. Got the thing out and examined it and was like "what the hell?". I kinda pulled on it and spun it and whaddya know? It wouldnt come apart...

    In mid 07 they changed the upper strut mounts to be self contained. In my 08 the upper strut mounts were sealed and i got to reading they changed that.

    Got the C&L and bama tunes installed on the GT...

    Got it installed in around an hour. Took my time of course. Looking back on it, i wish i would have preassembled the thing in my basement and then put it on because the instructions made it a PITA. Only thing i dont like about it is the airbox, it doesnt seem to fit that well. IF anyone...

    Yea lets face it, if cars such as gtos and t/a's are cutting crappy times as well its a sure bet that not everyone is a sucky driver. I can't wait til fall comes around, when its dry and not as humid and chilly at night.

    I feel ya, it was 95* last 2 times i ran the cobra and the GT at the traack. The cobra was cutting 14.1's and 14.3's and the gt was about the same. Maybe a lil higher.

    Welp, i bit the bullet and bought a tuner/CAI

    Getting the racer i think. Its the one with the metal looking pipe. Im getting 87 perf, 93 torque, and 93 performance. I rarely take this car to the track so i think the race would never get used.

    An old guy's reunion.

    I wish my dad had his old car from when he was in highschool/college. He had a Boss 302 1970 model. Its his stories that got me into mustangs like i am. He had it all decked out and such and the only car to beat him in college was some dudes roadrunner that was all hopped up.

    Mustang Replacement Upper Grille

    You dont ahve to cut them, they can be pryed up with a small flathead screwdriver. Just pull up the center part then it will sort of unhook the outer part and then it will all pull out. No need to buy new ones.

    Heard surprisingly good exhaust setup

    From my experiences on my cobra and my old GT ditching the manifolds got rid of most of the raspyness and drone of most exhaust setups..

    Went to the track this past friday night could only get 3 runs in because some tards started a fight but heres how it went. Keep in mind these are my first 3 passes with this car, so keep the hate to a minimum.... First run i slipped the clutch at 1500 and bogged, cut an embarassing run...

    The stock manifolds on these cars are not very restrictive if you're NA, if you take them off and look at them they have little grooves in them that help direct the flow so headers are not that big of a deal. /waits for the flamers who have done it to tell me how stupid i am but yea, great...

    Don't let it get you down. You just got the thing and you dont know it that well and how it reacts. I am going to take my new GT to the track this friday night as a matter of fact and i am not expecting too much. I am by no means one of these god drivers so best i am expecting is a low 14...
