    This guy is clueless because I believe the GT500 has a supercharged 5.4 with revised suspension and brakes. He seems pretty biased towards the Rousch. What is this guy's background in automotive anyways? Never heard of him but his videos seem to be talked about alot on this forum.

    Auto guys

    I do both for my 06 GT auto. Leaving it in Drive I did a 13.5, but shifting it at 6000 rpms got me a 13.4. Shifting manually is a bit tricky since any rough movements results in skipping gears. Gotta be gentle with it.

    Get a CAI/Tune combo! Its definately worth the money. Make sure you find a company that has good after sale support as well, as a good product. I had problems with mine but the support to fix it was excellent!

    Ran 13.5 at around 101-102 mph with a Demolet CAI and SCT tune on 87 octane. I just got the 91 tune and the Flowmaster kit(wont help probably, just for sound), but cant run it because we dont have a track here anymore!!!!

    Maybe its the dealer I have an 06GT Deluxe with a Premium Package. The wording is right from Ford, but maybe the dealer is the reason why we have some many different options. My car came fully loaded with every option even the Shaker 1000, the only thing charged extra was the automatic.

    Exhaust tip only ???

    Any good exhaust shop can weld any tip onto the stock muffler. I had some 4" SS rolled tips welded onto mine. 4" tips fill the exhaust cutouts very nicely.

    Is this normal?

    It runs pretty strong. Havent noticed anything strange performance wise. The engine does make louder ticking noises, but this could be due to the oil. I do have a CAI/Tune on it, but I hope this isnt the cause of my oil consumption.
