i would expect about a half second in the 1/8th. 1 full second in the 1/8th is being a little optimistic, but still atainable if you can drive the balls off the car & are on slicks. so, expect about a half second gain so you aren't disappointed

continue to press on the spring while you jack up the control arm. if that doesn't work do what saleen said below. it's not easy, jsut take your time & make sure that you get the pigtail lined up in the control arm, or else the front will sit too high
i have a d&d k-member in mine & have had 0 issues with it. the only draw back was there is a little more road noise, due to there being less mass underneath to block the noise
