'89 GT Upper Intake Leak - Pics (HELP!)

Plus 1 for are you sure its leaking? When is the last time you cleaned that area off. Some purple power or simple green and a garden hose should get most of that residue off . Then if it comes back in a short time I would worry about leaks. There really is no oil of fuel flowing thru that...

    Preparing a 92GT for a 4,000 mile drive

If they are still on your car, remove the fog lights for the drive. Lots of gravel on the ALCAN and I would bet the fog lights wont survie the trip. Put them back on once you get there. Easy way to save some money. If your paint is good might also want to put a bra on for the trip. The car...

strut tower ..is this a high quote??

Quote sounds high to me but look at from their side (not defending just trying to ratioanlize) $100 bucks and hour labor, 30 or 40 hours maybe need to pull the engine to gain correct access. They will have to make sure its fixed right if it breaks while your driving then they have liability...

HELP!! My ignition system is outfoxing me

PIP, its cheap but have to pull and disassemble the dizzy to change. Not really hard if you have a vise to hold it while you drive out the roll pin and gear off the shaft. TFI modules can act weird too. Easier to change but cost more. Both can cause intermittant problems

    touchy steering

The shimmy is probably cuased by out of balance tires. You can rotate front to rear and see if the shimmy changes or get everything rebalanced if it bothers you. Over time it may cause some cupping and increase wear but only if you drive a lot at the speed where the shimmy is.

    Something alarming... maybe

Don't plug it, it is there for condensation to drain from the ac evaporator. your leak looks green like anti freeze so its gotta be the heater core. If you don't fix it you will want to by pass it under the hood so you don't keep losing coolant.
