    3100RPM rattle, not pinging

    I had the exact same problem, mine did it consistantly at 2800 rpms though. After hours upon hours of searching, it was the front brake rotor backing plate/shroud... Dont know why it only makes noise at that rpm, but it would be worth checking...

    mustang tuning rims?

    Just bought some DD Bullitts from mustangtuning about a month or so ago.... To be honest the wheels were actually better quality than I was expecting. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised, and will be buying from them again in the future.

    Kumho's????

    I had the Kuhmo Ecsta 712's on my 96 Cobra, and for the price the were a pretty decent tire. I dont know how long they last because they were on the car when I sold them. They were far superior the Falken Ziex's I had on it before.

    +1 for exhaust leak... I have the same headers as you, and I had the EXACT same problem shortly after installing them. In fact I would be willing to bet that the leak is on the back passenger side where the header bolts up to the head... at any rate I would almost be willing to gaurantee you...
