    It will deffinately be more reliable than the tempo, (not to mention more fun!). Like they said, try to get a 5-speed, the A4LD is a little sketchy when it comes to reliability.

    I called ben (koolaid4cyl) and he said he had a graduation party he had to set up for. And dad had to go to a dinner with friends. I'm rounding the boys up and we're deffinately heading out there this Thursday. Rain or shine, lol.

    Hate to say it, but you'd lose. His car weighs a hundred pounds or so less (if not more) and the Automatic 2.3's are just plain dogs. It might be close if he has an automatic too, but if he has a 5-speed kiss it good bye. What cars can stock n/a 2.3 auto beat?? You could probably count...

    So I could swap a 5-speed into an automatic TC with no problem? Just swap it out and go? And so from what I understand the Automatic computer is actually more desireable then the 5-speed computer?

    Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure carbed 2.3T were in mustangs from '79-'80. And I don't think the '83 TC's had vams. (they only had 145 hp too :notnice: )

    how do i take out my stock radio?

    I got mine out by cutting a coat hanger wire in half, and bending the two pieces into the "U" shape to fit into the clips. I had to play with it a little, but it finally came out.
