    The kind I used was a matco one. It had 4 giant claws and one bolt that went down the middle, kinda like a giant clamp. It worked perfect though. Thats the kind I would buy if I could ever find one like it.

    My 85 came with a Centerforce.. I have yet to put it in yet. It is def a different design with the weights on the clutch fingers and all haha.

    I had the King Cobra clutch in my 89, no problems at all. Was pretty hard pedal but other than that it never slipped or anything.

    The head bolt hole is a half inch for the 351, where as the 302 I believe its 3/8s.

    If you are planning on putting in an aftermarket stereo I would recommend buying the harness plug. They are like 7 bucks and make it so you don't have to hack up your factory wiring. Makes it so much easier as well.

    I'm in the search for an electric fuel pump for the 85 I just picked up. Not real familiar with carb applications so just wondering if anyone had any suggestions? The car will just be a 302 with a Holley 600 on it, probably will do gt40 heads eventually and it has a Edelbrock Performer RPM...

    That not all 4 eye gauge clusters are the same lol. I went to swap the cluster from my 85 to my 80 because I wanted the 140 speedo in the 85.. Well once I plugged it in, the brake light and the right turn signal bulb were on and the key wasn't even in. Then I started smelling a burning smell...
