Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......

I wouldn’t get so wrapped up in taking the intake power band numbers at letter of the law Big bore 347 3.250 stroke 5.400 rod 4.155 bore now 20511r head Brian Freezy Hyd roller ( bullet ) 17/8 long tubes to 3 inch collector Freddy brown aod Vortech ysi It’s full weight , has everything except...

Yes it’s all back in production I believe. EDIT - LMR has both r series in stock Also again like fast driver - my stuff drives 60 miles round trip alone to work in Ny/nj traffic. It’s docile enough to be fine like you want to drive and makes enough power to go 9.50s on the pump gas tune and...

FWIW there’s an all steel all glass 408ci Windsor with 22711r heads and an off the shelf Hyd roller cam cam that’s been 9s na and 8s on nitrous with a tkx in a 86 hatchback. Just have to make it work for its intended purpose. I agree with fast driver on the intakes I just didn’t get into...

Ed knows his stuff. I use Brian Freezy for all my cam and valve train stuff. He is local to me and even before we were friends he spoke with me for hours on the phone on the combo and what I wanted to do etc.

What’s his idea of non Chinese parts? The 298 dollar crank you listed is a Chinese piece. Even the majority of the really good cranks are cast in china and finished here . If I were building an engine from scratch I’d be using a molnar piece in a dart block for a crank. Best bang for the buck...

BINGO ! This is where a custom grind comes in . It’s not 1995 . You can make the car drive near perfect and have enough cam shaft Hyd to make 500 plus and still be street able

If it were me - I don’t know why you need new valves on new heads if you’re buying them. Intake would be fine so long as the ports match but I’ve ported both my system max when I had and my box r. I have ran a powerbond balancer my whole time I’ve had blowers and it’s hands down best bang for...

High port is the king of in line head no question. I’ve been heads up racing every year since 2014-15. Front runners are running high ports. For his combo he doesn’t need anything that serious but I was going to suggest a 225 high port originally

The Johnson Hy lift I just put in my are good to 7500rpm He’s not even looking to go there . But they are 1300 bucks I have been 7300 plus no lift on ford lifters I agree id be using forged crank , good piston , and definitely internally balanced.

You’ll never go wrong with cubic inch NA 363 I’d do a 205cc variant - custom hyd roller of some sort or a good off the shelf na cam to meet drivability goals but make power. That engine should make close to or over 500 at flywheel on accident if it’s all setup right. Cast crank should be...

10.5:1 The cam isn’t exactly optimal either in my opinion. Not the best not the worst E85 is your friend at that compression Pump gas tuning window will be much smaller at that compression. My real concern here is ring gap. I hope the rings are gapped enough to not have an issue.

I’m familiar with it. The way the 3 inch tails swoop up there is no space I’d have to go under the rear to have the brace fit. For what I’m doing I think it’ll be ok the car will only see the track 2-6 times a year tops.

Cars been down since April . Changed the oil found a c clip in it which led me to finding it was a c clip from the plunger of my morel short travel lifters. This is semi my fault as there was some miscommunication between me and the engine builder. The engine was set up as if it were a low lash...

Tubes are welded , can’t brace the axle as it gets in the way of the anti roll I have and also the 3 inch tail pipes. Adjustable tq boxes and mounts on the rear allow you of course move the factory control arms out of the factory resting and fully extended angles. Just slang for control arm...
