    Playing with AI and thought of this customization. It seems a little off both because AI didn't seem to get the window proportions quite right and the fact that I don't think anything like this has ever been done. I think I kinda like it though.... kind of gives vibes of the 69-70 fastbacks.

    Sounds like a solid plan. Just be aware that some V8 specific stuff is damn near unobtainable.     I don't think it ever goes away. My uncle is about your age and brings home a new project about every other year. In between times he's out tinkering and restoring them. Gives him something to do with his free time, which I don't think is much different than most.

    Sharing here for reference - this was hard to see with the fenders mounted. Honestly, I didn't even see it when I looked at the car, but like I said, I wasn't buying it as a project so I wasn't looking.

    They should. I've installed a couple aftermarket cats in different cars and they seemed to work as they should. I didn't live in a smog state at the time, so I don't know if they would've worked well enough for someplace like California or anything.... (probably not - California's funny like that)

    Orders have been placed. I went ahead and added the front bumper cover to match the new rear I've been working on getting mounted. I added it to combine shipping which will end up saving me in the long run. I'll have to order new weatherstripping from them before this is all said and done...
