    I have the gt crank pulley on my cobra with a kb. As noted above the cobra = 5.85", the gt about 6 7/8". I changed to the gt after putting the kb on. It increased the boost level without going to the smaller kb pulley. I originally tried a smaller kb pulley but had too much belt slippage...

    MSD BTM?

    Even with a tune, I find I do use the BTM occaisionally. It's really when I get gas that doesn't seem to be 93 octane. I don't know if it's the "winter mix" or what; but I seem to be getting more bad gas lately.

    Post your CO, NO, and HC numbers and the allowed limits. That will give people an idea of what the problem may be. Also, what state are you in, different states have different possible remedies if you can't pass.

    Anyone ever dye there seatbelts??? Is it possible??

    Test it on the passenger side first; that way if it doesn't work and the dye runs on your passenger, at least you're not getting your clothes messy.

    With a Kenne Bell should I have the FPR hooked up to boost or vac side of blower?

    Boost side ONLY! You could lean out at WOT if you connect the vac line to inflow side of the kb s/c. The outflow (boost) side will actually cause fuel pressure to increase when under positive boost; definitely good for your a/f ratio under load.

    The 8th digit in the VIN will be a "D" if it is a factory cobra. The "D" signifies the Cobra engine.

    I brought the driver's side up from below when I installed the BBK shorties;simply disconnect the steering linkage to get it out of the way. It went up really easy when I finally figured it out.

    Yes. Stage 1 has a relay that is off/on under boost. You can also get Stage 2 or Stage 2 MAF. Each allows you to set graduated injection based on boost.

    check to make sure all your plug wires are on firmly. They'll make a similar noise if not properly seated.
