HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS???

Nice commercial :nice:. I see what you mean, they should never be allowed to get away with that.

Who will be the bigger man?

I couldn't agree more Ty. I was hoping this would help illustrate how ridiculous it is. As mentioned, way too many threads have been allowed to carry on like this.

Who will be the bigger man?

My bad Oz...sorry. Wow, maybe I could lead them by example...:jester:

Who will be the bigger man?

Why would this thread get locked when there have been ongoing mudslinging battles in other threads that have not been locked up to this point. All we are doing is guessing the way it will end. This thread does not break any of the stangnet rules.

Who will be the bigger man?

I ask this in regards to Hop and Pak's ongoing feud. We all are witnessing it, and I personally believe that both have initiated as well as retaliated at one time or another. I read somewhere that it takes a bigger man to turn the other cheek...as well as it takes a big man to accept...

6 cyl to 8 cyl cars

Oz, you might just want to swap your car with my 6 cylinder, the suspension and transmission will all have to be converted and the parts for the 8 to 6 conversion are very difficult to find. This one is a real beauty, 4 lug wheels, manual steering and brakes, all original and unrestored. Here...

    Chepsk8, something to consider.

Forgive my historical ignorance, but what are you referring to here? As for this entire conversation though, I cannot believe the offensive BS you two have decided to drag us into. This is truly ridiculous and petty. Why don't you two take this feud offline via pm's or something. If it...

Weird Holley Carb Problem - Please Help

Both carbs have primary and secondary metering blocks with the stainless steel transfer tube between the two bowls. They are center hung floats. If it were too high fuel pressure, wouldn't that happen on the 600 cfm carb as well? If not, how do I correct it if that is what it is? Again, I...

Weird Holley Carb Problem - Please Help

I have to Holley carbs, a 600 cfm C70F (67 GT 390 Carb) and a 735 cfm C90F (69 428 Carb). I have cleaned them both up, added a kit to them, and have different results. The 600 runs very well. However, when I put the 735 on my car, fuel spills out of the secondary chambers onto the secondary...

    Negative Pony Carb experience today

I am not trying to change anyone's impression of pony carbs, only share my experience. If you would have read a little closer, I did mention that I have purchased some parts from them in the past...but I can guarantee I won't be in the future. If the tech I spoke with would have given me a...

    Negative Pony Carb experience today

Exactly my point PB. :nice: Oz, it wasn't like I was asking him their secrets on how they "re-engineer" the Holley carb or how to tune it, that kind of free advice I could understand them not wanting to share and they shouldn't. However, I can tell you that if they aren't willing to spend...

    Negative Pony Carb experience today

Agreed that time is money, however, you have to invest some time to make money. If that would have been the first call to them, I would never purchase from there after that. If he would have been courteous and tried to help me, even for just 2 minutes with a couple of ideas which is all that I...

    Negative Pony Carb experience today

I had a bit of a bad experience today with Pony Carbs. I have to Holley carbs, a 600 cfm C70F (67 GT 390 Carb) and a 735 cfm C90F (69 428 Carb). I have cleaned them both up, added a kit to them, and have different results. The 600 runs very well. However, when I put the 735 on my car, fuel...

Anyone have the "blackout" panel on their 67/68 taillights?

I think it was an option, either the grey or color coded to the car. Mine has a special color code - W5 - which means that the entire back panel is grey including the trunk lid lip and the rest of the rear panel which is not a part of the ribbed panel...I am not sure but I have seen some that...

Anyone have the "blackout" panel on their 67/68 taillights?

Sorry fellas for the delayed response, I was on a road trip for business but the computer was still logged in with AIM. Check out my site for pictures of the car with the ribbed panel, www.nugentwist.com/67GTmain.html. As for how it installs, I will get you some pictures of how it installs if...

finally a real Eleanor on ebay...

That is one good looking car. I still want to see an Eleanor done in a different color, say like a Hertz combo or something...and with a real Shelby hood.
