    crank pulley question

Hex bolts might not fit if your using an underdrive pulley. If they fit then go with those. Otherwise the regular Allen head bolts will be fine. They don't really have to be grade 8, unless your turning a blower, then maybe.

Calling all Mustang Gods!!!!! Please tell me this is a dream.

I would suggest you pull a couple bearing caps (rod and main) and take a look at your bearings.

    Suggestions on building a motor

I think that would be a good set-up. I'm kind of curious about your current combo. What trans / clutch, rear-end, cam, intake, fuel system, etc. are you using? You have a cage in it? That thing is pretty quick considering how stock it looks. Good power numbers too

    Suggestions on building a motor

There's a lot of options out there. The Dart block is cost-prohibitive for a lot of people, myself included. You can make decent power with a stock block if you just put a limit on your power output. I decided to go with a 306 because I figured a supercharged 306 would last longer than a...

worried about my trickflow tw heads

If the threads aren't stripped and the plugs go in OK without much resistance I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just put some anti-seize on them next time, like you said. As far as adjusting the rockers, there is really no need for re-adjustments. I put 35k + miles on mine without ever...

    Suggestions on building a motor

I don't think a stock block will hold up to the kind of power your wanting to make, at least not for real long. I would start saving for a Dart block if you want to run 12 psi and nitrous. I'm gonna be running a stock block 306 with H/C/I and about 10psi. I don't want to make more than...

    vortech help?

You don't have to drop the pan. I did remove my sway bar to give myself some extra room though. Make sure and use a lot of grease on the tap to keep the metal out of the pan

Calling all Mustang Gods!!!!! Please tell me this is a dream.

+1 Did you open up the last pump to see if there was any trash inside of it? They usually don't lock up unless it sucks up something. Was there anything in the bottom of the pan? Metal, excess silicone, etc? Also take a good look at your cam gear and distributor gear for anything abnormal

The threads are stripped in my crankshaft for the balancer!!!

You should start by getting the proper size tap (5/8th x 18) and see if that helps.

    Which c/c plates to buy?

I have the Maximum Motorsports plates as well. They've been on my car for about 5 years now and I'm very happy with them.

    #2 cyl. misfire....why?

Do a compression test as well. If you have a dead hole then it's not gonna fire. You could have a blown head gasket, broken valve spring, bent valve, collapsed lifter, things like that

    Clutch help

Sounds like it's not disengaging all the way. Tighten the adjustment on the cable some and see if it that helps.

    which way is right? (pics)

Yeah, if you lay them in the car you'll see which way they have to go. But the top pic is correct. The stud goes towards the front of the engine

intake works on stock heads but not others, could it be warped

You have to tighten the intake bolts gradually in several cycles until you reach the final torque of 22-24ft lbs. It's normal for some to be loose after tightening others. You have to repeat the process as many times as necessary until that stops happening. Sometimes you have to go over them...

    Anderson Power Pipes

I have the UPR Pipe. I'm happy with it. I did modify it slightly by adding the nipple for the PCV and I tapped it to accept the 90 degree bypass valve fitting shown
