    Take the intake tube off, hold the butterfly in the wide open position. Take a rag with some throttle body cleaner and wipe it out. No need to remove it really.

    Thats about same city / highway % I drive. But only 23 miles 1 way. I'm getting 20.3 to 20.8 mpg on the gauge, and or when measured by gallons used to miles driven.

    Looks like its in Mint Condition. Enjoy. And you get the Anniversary Badge. I had both a 99 and 04 Anniversary Badge..... doesnt really add any value to the car, but its fun to watch people at stop lights look at the Badge and wonder what it means.

    The first thing to rule out would be the spark plugs. Change em and see what happens. Also inspect the positive battery cable contact points on both ends.

    Ive used K&Ns forever. They are high quality , last a long time, filter great. Easy to clean and require no tune. Some people are always hatin on tried and true issues.

    Full Synthetic is the way to go. I like Castrol 5w20 but Mobil 1 and Valvoline are excellent as well.

    We get ice storms in Dallas and Ive noticed on ice AS tires seem worse than Summer tires. Last winter I still had the stock Pirelli PZero Neros's AS and they sucked on ice.
