    I'd say ROUSH TVS... No need to worry about whether a ROUSH part has been around 1 or 5 years... Before ROUSH puts out parts, its been tested and proven... ROUSH TVS all the way...

    SOLO events require safety gear = roll cage/roll bar for convertibles. Autocross on the other had will not require anything more than stock safety equipment = seat belt and a helmet (which you can use a loaner at the event). Stick with autocross if you don't want to turn your daily driver...

    Since its a hurst, couldn't that have been installed by a dealer? Ford installs Hursts in their Mustangs... Plus Ford has a TSB for this problem...so they are aware of it... I shifter should not matter... Here is the TSB:

    Well, mine is a Roush and it does have a Roush short shifter...but they did not say anything... They already new the 2007 - 2008 have issues with the transmissions. I went to Gary Yeoman Ford...they are the best dealership in the nation. They just won Roush's #1 dealership award for 2009...

    No, this is not normal... Take it to your dealers to get it fixed. It will take roughly a week though, so make sure you take it to where you bought the car so they can give you a loaner...

    I didn't have vibration issues; I went in for 3rd grinding in cold weather...sub 50*. The dealer told me this issue can also cause vibrations... I'm in Central Florida (Daytona)...

    For removing our 2-peice plugs, if you are really worried about breaking them, just buy a can of Deep Creep (by Sea Foam) and spray up to the nut (where the ceramic and metal join) on the spark plug. Then loosen the spark plug an 1/8 of a turn, just break it loose...be gentle and let it sit for...

    Just tell them it grinds in 3rd during cold temps...they will replace all the syncros (there is a TSB for this issue)...since they will have it open, maybe they can see something else wrong with it...

    I had the same issues... During cold weather, sub 40*, 2nd and 3rd would crunch and 4th would just grind horribly... As soon as the tranny warmed up, it would be perfectly smooth. I took it to the dealers and they replaced two sets of syncos... It took them about 5 days to get the parts...

    Yes any mod will void your warranty... I just got mine tuned with the VMP 500HP kit. All I have to say is WOW!!! The car should have come like this from Roush!!!! After the tune, the car's drivability greatly (100%) improved!! Its sooooo smooth its rediculous...and I didn't have any issues...

    I will be going with a Detroit True-trac sometime next year...the carbon clutch packs would only be a hold me over till then.
