    Mac 80mm CAI questions - 2000 GT

    I believe that the 2000 GT comes with an 80mm MAF - I know that the 2002 GT does. The 80mm unit will suffice unless you go with forced induction.

    Did the whole treatment - oil, gas, intake. Not a bunch of smoke, but enough to give me a buzz. I haven't noticed a difference performance-wise, but I've also had my car in storage for 5 months. My computer has been running slow lately, so I'm gonna run some Seafoam through it...

    Well, took the car out last night & didn't want to come back... Felt much better, idle was good, response was great. I'll toy around with the IAC restrictor later, if it's even necessary.

    I just replaced the TPS & removed the IAC restrictor. It's idling much more smoothly now. I'm gonna take it out for a spin & make sure it idles better while driving...
