    Yea the stock 5.0 one can look pretty sweet with some time. I just painted mine with some med gloss black and polished the high spots, turned out real nice too, and with minimal effort. Also painted the upper and valve covers a med gloss black as well.

    I think i remember messing around with a calculator and seeing that with 2.73's, 225/60r/15 tires, 5th gear, and 6k rpm it was well over 200 mph, 240 comes to mind but Im not really sure.

    Yea we put a set of bolt in subs on my buddys camaro and it was a joke, not near the structural rigidity as weld in, didnt matter how tight the bolts were either. Happy to say after that that mine are welded in:D

    Smog pump holes in the rear of stock heads

    Yea lots of good ways to do it. What I did was take the blocks off the back and hacksaw the lines off, then put a bolt in the open lines and welded around them, works great and no leaks. The putting them on backwards sounds like a great alternative though.
