    1965 2+2 Restoration + I6-v8 Progress

Good job, looks like your doing it right the first time. Just fyi, if you have any seam sealer left on your car get it off, you wouldn`t beleive what kinda crap I found hiding under some of mine. The trunk floor to inner wheelhouse areas looked great...I shouldn`t have looked.

Is An Engine That Was Rebuilt 10 Years Ago And Left To Sit Still Good?

I sold mine for $150 and it was a good tight motor, used no oil, no smoke, nothing. I`d look around some more if I were you.

Thinking Of Buying This Car, Advice Please! Pics!

Also look into the trunk over each wheelwell and look at the insides of the quarter panels real close, (if I had done this I never would have bought my car) but I didn`t know to look...

Stuck Harmonic Balancer Bolt - 289

I`d want a cheater pipe about 8 foot long so i could hide behind something when someone hit the starter... I`m not saying I wouldn`t do it, but I`d have to be out of other options.

    C4 To T5 Swap In A 1966 With An Inline 6

It just occured to me that when I had my 6 cyl motor with a c-4 trans that I also had 2.90 (or close, tall hwy gear) gears in my rearend. If you have 2.90 gears your not gonna ever be able to shift into 5th gear cause you wont even need to unless your running like 100mph... I have a V-8 with a...

    Noisy valvetrain...

You could also remove the fan belt and run it for a minute, with no turbulence you could blow smoke on it and tell really quick... Just an idea.

    Export Brace Bar

Left overnight I don`t think it sagged at all. I just finished messing with it again and I am starting to think that my subframe connectors are keeping me from "twisting" the shock towers around. I can`t put the jack anywhere under the front end (or combination of jacks) to move the shock...

    Export Brace Bar

Well I don`t see how I`m gonna get it to move this much, but I am going to try. In my case the holes on the brace are not only too far back to match the cowl holes, they are cocked to one side at least 1/4 inch.

    Export Brace Bar

Bringing this thread back from the dead. Anyway, I just mounted my export brace and it just laid right on there, no tweaking pulling or anything. Its freaky after reading the install articles and how hard it can be on most cars. Right now its bolted to everything but the cowl, I`m gonna let it...

    straight stock restore or modify?

I`m pretty sure I gutted a true sprint 200 when I got my car. It had 6 cylinder motor, 5 lug wheels, and all the tags on the 8 inch rear, tranny, and motor matched... I didn`t know that till it was to late.

    Installing hood pins

Yes hood is mounted, looks great. Stangoholics really does sell quality products that fit well. The end caps were almost a bolt on deal, just a skim coat of bondo and they fit perfect. I included a pic of the inside of the trunk lid so you can see the quality of the product, and I also set...

    1968 DOHC 4.6 Coupe Project

I had already 80 blocked the entire car, and I mixed some epoxy to spray the exposed metal spots where I had sanded into the metal, and I had some extra epoxy mixed and went ahead and shot the roof, cowl, and trunk lid. (it had already been handwashed and prepped) It didn`t lay down very good...
