    Looking good :nice: What are you going to do for a hood scoop to fit over that air cleaner? The backwards stock II scoop or perhaps a cowl induction style?

    thanks guys and d you're right, the front flares came out of escort fenders. The back off a eagle years ago. At the rate the roadsters going maybe I should bid on the II cart. At least I'd have one running down the road. Megan, do you think we could make it seat two?

    CobraIIw, all the body metal work is finally complete. I'm finishing up the nose piece and starting to figure out the brake/clutch issue (I have none and with the firewall moved back...). Currently it's on hold though, I'm replacing all the sheetmetal from the back seat to the bumper on a 71...

    Even though nothing beats a v8, you could always build a turbo 4 cylinder backed by a 5 speed. Good mileage and performance.

    I once placed a 460 in my II, besides the steering clearance issue, I had problems between the valve cover and master cylinder/booster area. Also had no tranny room for the c-6 I was going to use. :shrug:

    could be a 77' II. They had the horizontal bars silver and the vertical bars painted black.

    in case you haven't seen it......just got the May 04 issue of Mustangs & Fords and they have an tech feature on a new sequential taillight system for classic mustangs from Scott Drake Enterprises. You should be able to adapt one to a II.
