Well I guess we should ask where in Mexico he lives( average elevation is 3,900 ft.) Some places could be 10,00 ft.
And higher elevation does kill fuel milage......
I have done the cobra brakes about six or seven years ago and being the frugal fuch I am I put a 16 inch full-size spare from a Taurus I had in the garage.
It will fit on the rear and if I have a front flat I swap the rear then swap that one to the front.

I believe they are from blue oval industries, and I've daily driven them (150miles/day) without any real noticeable noise or vibrations.
They do sit lower then my original ones.
