    Thanks! I ended up getting it powdercoated and I had FTBR bushings installed in it as well. I'm just ready to get it in the car at this point. It has taken me a while to get to where I am with it. Hopefully I can start the install this weekend.

    Gas milage wise they are not much different actually. The pre 05 V6's were severely under engineered and well, even the 4.6 was compared to what they have since done but I have owned both a 01 V6 and an 02 GT. I would vote hands down for the GT as the V6 may satisfy you the first month you own...

    I would not put a mach 1 sticker on a GT but thats just me. If you go with a red stripe on the side the red mirrors would go well, but all black body works well and there is a reason you see the simple color left alone.

    If its the 94-98 body style I have mixed feelings with the dumps. I think they actually clutter the rear end of the car up but it can depend on if the exhaust compliments the look or not. Black wheels/scheme= dumps Chrome wheels= exhaust tips Just my .02

    Well even though it has lower miles for the year and car, its still not low to command top dollar. It's a car that was driven on nice days which IMO is how it should be done. Being that it is just a 4.6 2v and does not even have PI heads it is severely underpowered. I love the way those cars...

    True, but the COP does clean up the engine bay 100% more than plug wires. I understand wanting to keep them since its the last years of the spark plug wires in mustangs.

    SRT Handz all your engine bay needs is the COP conversion. Plug wires are neat but they clutter up the engine bay and distract from that blower awesomeness.

    My guess is previous owner(s) or whoever worked on the car obviously not knowing what they were doing. It looks as if someone took heat from welding/cutting it off and melted the shock mount in the process.

    Looks exactly like a 96-98 Cobra hood to me. The openings look like they are missing the plastic grills/gills however which may be why they look different.

    I ordered the 305 35 18's Don't need them to be super wide but I don't want to get 285's at the same time. I never thought they were wide enough on my last setup.

    Well I am getting some Nitto 555r's on wednesday but I don't drive the car daily which is why I went with the R compound. I don't need the tire to get a huge life anymore so I would rather it be stickier. I've had great luck with Nitto tires in the past.

    Repainting a car isn't cheap to begin with and then changing colors is that much more. You will have to paint door jams, under the hood, trunk. Basically every part will need to be repainted on the car. Most of the hoods featured above btw are cobra r2000's
