    My stang was ordered with 308 gears from the factory, last 19 years( minus last ten months )(health) I have driven the :poo: outta her. With the t5 in fifth gear I crisis hyway at 70-75 mph and it spins at 2'000 ish rpms.

    Your o.e.m. uppers are the weak link, cause I've been side stepping my clutch for years without any hop, I've got metco adjustable uppers and lower arms with greasable bushings.

    Had my walbro 255lph pump with stock wiring for almost 15 years,and I daily my 93lx. You just got a bad pump.

    You should.degrease all of that and add some uv dye to the oil.that way your not chasing your tail.

    New or old pump shouldn't matter, full or empty either way the ecu sends power the pump to prime then shuts it till the engine is running. Your constant running is somewhere in the wires ,ecu, relay?
