    Yeah, that's pretty well known, only one place has the original fabric and you will pay stupid prices for it, SMS at $200+ a yard. Better to buy donor seats and use the material to replace the worn bolsters by an upholstery shop or seamstress or do the flipper hack and use a decent passenger...

    There not chrome, just polished aluminum..... The cheapy China Ford billet 75mm isn't a bad one for the price and comes in black or brushed aluminum just no spacer, pretty much the old Holley design rip off. Accufab doesnt use seals either on majority of there units just pressed bearings...

    Hole really doesnt matter its the the shaft leaking... You can fix some with a radial shaft seals, last one. I did was a cheapy China is style throttle body though, there so I don't have any part numbers to give ya for an bbk/edelbrock one.

    Bbk ball and socket system is terrible for leaks, you may need to either expand the ball on the header or compress the socket on the mid pipe and load it with red or copper rtv, I cut them off at this point if there long tubes and use a v band or Torca clamps like these branded under Holley...

    Finally found some cheap 87-89 gt seats. time to clean these up, brace the frames, fluff a new layer of foam over the old and use the acme black leather coupe upholstery set I've had sitting in a box forever. Funny the tweed is in decent shape on these, besides filthy. They should clean up...

    Different grade iron, harder too. Germany one is way more modern technology casting, they look almost black in color, way less scrap in casting from pours with voids and porosity issues. Side by side those blocks really show how far behind us iron industry is from greed and neglect of the PE...

    You can get a cheapy bore gauge kit for like $35 on Amazon these days if your worried, Idk if they still honor 2 day deliver though lol.. You grabbing a new or used one? I'd just look for irregularities, porosity etc they all need to go to a machine shop for prep anyway and you still gotta buy...

    Lol they thought it would be cheap not $100 less then dart, it was also when blocks where a pita to get. This is the dude selling them on the group, I didn't do any due diligence and rarely use FB so don't know him, so you might want to before sending any money, FB is riddled with scammers...

    That's my point.. If its 208 lb its around the weight of crated iron eagle block... hard to tell from the :poo:ty pics they use, hell half the time there pics don't even match the product.. They don't design :poo: they just tweak copies of old stuff and with what there retailing them for it...
