Sorry LOL! I kinda thought maybe it was one of those what type of exhaust should I run questions!
I haven't had a chance to check for my key yet. Pretty sure this model could run either one though. I wouldn't know how to determine the difference based on the disc...unless it just had it...
You have entered the world of a Mustang forum off topic area. Here we discuss things from cars, repairs, computers, sports, and most importantly boobs. Sounds like you are not familiar with any of the above so maybe stick around and learn something.
Yeah me too. That's why when we were talking about it I thought maybe Microsoft actually let it go freeware since it's so old. Should have known better than that from MS. LOL!
Nice purchase!!!
Ok this is driving me nuts. Does anyone have a link to a real free download of XP?
I've tried Microsoft and Download.com. I just keep going in circles Lol!

This thread hurts my brain matter. Computer people, start with a basic request and the next thing you know you have the top of line rig...and no time to use it

I use an Onkyo TX-SR705. I don't remember when I bought it exactly but I know it's at least 6-7 years old. At the time is was about an $800 receiver found it on sale for $500. It doesn't have the fancy on screen stuff or mobile connection stuff like the newer ones. Don't really need that...
Never really considered it. I would probably pay that much, just not for a Mustang.
I don't really need 800hp in a car either. I would be happy with 4-500.
That's the problem it doesn't have a rom drive in it. I could swap one in from my other pc but not sure it's worth the hassle. My goal is to sell the computer but if it's not worth much then it's not worth much time working on it.
I may try the usb option though.
Maybe a dumb question for you guys, I'm computer savvy but not as much I guess.
How does one download and install Windows XP onto a computer that will not boot up?

I have tried every startup option such as recovery, safe mode, etc...except for boot to prompt. It shows the Windows screen at times and other times just brings up a screen full of messages saying it can't access the partition. I was hoping to recover to Windows as a selling point although it...
When I bought the core i5 I noticed a huge improvement in speed LOL! And it is a cheaper model from about 4 years ago. It does what I need it to do.
