    I have a couple choices

Im thinking about some changes. I can keep my 05 V6 and stick the Explorer Express S/C on when it hits the street later this month. -or- I can buy new on x-plan and get a nice V6 vert, or for about the same money a GT coupe. I really like my Redfire 05, but I also love verts, and...

    Redfire Metallic...any stripe suggestions?

Mine is plain also. I like stripes but they just look to busy on redfire. I did tint and MAG mirror inserts for the only exterior mods.

beat to death topic with a twist....cutting springs

Your logic is flawed. If your springs are that worn, then your car is already riding lower than stock. Cutting the springs is only going to make a bad thing worse. Maybe to the point that your car is undrivable. Ive cut lots of springs, in the old days thats how we did it, no...

I couldnt disagree more. The little hottie across the street washes her car every Saturday morning .... in a bikini. I sure enjoy sitting on my porch with a cup of coffee and pretending to read the paper. It just wouldnt be the same if she had a coat on.

Paint prep... some q's (Paul Perreca, etc come in)

If you have never removed the trim, drop by a bodyshop, they will pop it off in short order without damaging it. Its cosmetic only, so no worries about leaks. Its well worth the few bucks to have it done. Look here at the "project mayhem" thread...

Why spend $250 on 3g when I can spend $150?

Most of the chain parts stores offer lifetime warrenties because most people dont keep cars for a lifetime. I bought my mom an alt at AZ about 7 years ago. Ive replaced it 3 times under warrenty. On her Buick its a PITA to replace. For less than 1/2 the money, its still a good deal if...

How long do the 16inch tires last? I want to buy a set of used 16inch upgrade rims, but I dont want the tires. I havent heard anyone mention that they have used up the tires yet, so I wonder how long I will have to wait. Im putting the wheels on my 84. The wider 96 rear end and wider...
