piece from here, piece from there.
the over the axle and mufflers are flowmaster. Not sure who the h pipe or the dump/knockoffs were. Then the tips were from NPD. I then had a local "artist" fit it to the car and put it together. One of the best jobs I have ever farmed out to someone...
Shoot, do it right, peel it off, sand and prep the roof and repaint. Tops are not hard to put on, but to do it right you need to pull the front and rear glass. The tops are cheap ($50). I have done mine twice now.
I have had both a wide ratio and close ratio in my car that is doing 290hp/285tq and perfer the wide ratio. I was actually at the point where I would run one for a while and then swap the other back in 6 months later, so I had a lot of back and forth experience. (socal meant that you dont want...
Heya, welcome aboard. Keep up the questions. No question is stupid. There are 2 kinds of stupid people on webboards. One the stupid person that is afraid to ask a stupid question and then the stupid person who knows nothing and masks that by ragging on people who ask stupid questions!

The cheap repop ones would sometimes work. At one point I had the local store ship in 6 of em and just used the best one. The ford ones lined up right the first time I dropped the engine down on them..

That sucks....but I have been there. We were about done with the reassembly and ready for the road in the next week.....one night I was up late putting little stuff on. Next day I came out to find that I had closed the hood on a ratchet....and buckled the paint.
As far as a fan, I tried the...
Yeah, thats why I have one. At the tender age of 15 I watched a guy try to put out a car fire with a hubcap and dirt from along side the road......lets just say it was a good idea, but a waste of time....
I bought some of my stuff like the over the axle pipes, etc and then had the exhaust shop custom fit it. I had an ARTIST do my exhaust work, but you can get a much smoother setup starting with mandrel bent stuff and then having it fit to the car.
hehe....of course I did recently complain that I needed to replace my ball joints....until I realized that I last did my frontend 9 years ago.......adjustment every 10-12 months, replacement 2 years. About right......I just like to be done with stuff once I am done!
