    Depends on the state and how much the person at the DMV knows cars. When I went to the DMV, they refused to look at the Door Tag, they would only use the Buck Tag for verification.

    As far as I know, 68 was the first year that the vin had to be on the dash. They cannot be reproduced legally, so I don't know where you can find one.

    Track events = no car insurance?

    Most likely paying higher rates than you. I don't know of any insurance company that will cover a loss at the track, even the liability portion. You may want to look at a personal liability umbrella policy.

    I am pretty sure they are all carrying the ACC carpet, so it really is a matter of price. If memory serves me right the they do two different one, 80/20 or 100% Nylon.

    That's Downs Ford, they have been around forever. You won't have any problems dealing with them. Just double check to make sure the parts are in-stock and not special ordered. Try calling and speak with a person. They do not have many hands working there.

    Definately sounds like a voltage issue, overcharging. Bubbling is a sign of overcharging.

    If I am not mistaken, the GSS340 is a direct replacment for the 98. I seem to remember when I switched to return system on my 99, we used a 98 tank and GSS340 and did not have to hack up the basket.
