You're welcome, it was easy on me....I wasn't crawling under the car:lol: Mkes sure you hear a prochamber, catless H and X pipes before you make up your mind. I prefer the X on a 99+ car and the H on a 5.0...but that's just me :nice:

Putting that number along with the fact you have a Flowmaster catback , you have a pair of 2.5" original 2 chambered mufflers. Congrats they are the best sounding Flowmaster IMO:nice: Just curious , do you have an Off-road mid-pipe on the car?

Time to get your other sleeve wet.....the number is stamped in the end of the muffler opposite the inlet or outlet...should be a 5 digit number like this....

The American Thunder catback comes with the original 40's, I beleive, all the Super's I've seen in person or in pics have the black coating. Crawl under there and get the part# to be sure:D

Sorry but that's a typical "magazine" article. The 2.5" H/ chambered muffler set up was swapped for a 2.5"/3.5"/3" combo system. This is not comparing apples to apples.......but a nice attempt to stack the deck.
Please read carefully..........
" Sounds good, but would it work? To find...
A nitrous car is going to be making a lot more torque than a blower car of the same horsepower. It's torque that gets you down the track.....so in theory a 400 rwhp nitrous car is going to be faster than a 400 rwhp blower car. :nice:

I have to disagree about the stock motors also. Mine has taken a beating from a 150 shot for 2 years now without any problems. If it died tomorrow I wouldn't be dissapointed. I'm not sure abouy the 5.0 being any stronger in stock form but without H/C/I they can't run with the mod motors:)...
Do both:D I'm going pretty fast on NX 150 shot, but with cams I could drop down to a 100 shot and go as fast or faster and enjoy better off-bottle performance too:nice:

I've been using Mobil 1 5w40 full synthetic ever since I added the nitrous. I figgered my stock short block could use a little more hi-temp bearing protection. I'm pushing the stock bottom end to the limit so I thought ever little bit helps:nice:

Here's a pic of my 01 with Fox 4cyl. springs cut 1/2 turn, plus a vid of the weight transfer. I'm using Fox length Lakewood 90/10 struts :nice:

HELL NO:Damnit: You don't wanna soften the hit, that's the advantage we have over the other power-adders.:nice: I launch a 150 shot on drag radials and there nothin like it. If your car can't hook then work on traction .....don't slow the car down because of it:notnice:
Sorry I...
