    dolfan, any news....

We will be working on those as soon as we get the 68-70's in working order. It won't take nearly as long to design those, because the control arms shafts, and front strut mounts (the CNC parts) will interchange. So it's just a matter of re-designing the strut rods themselves, and the upper...

    1st Time Restoring Need Help!!

I have to agree here. Spend your money on a car that is already nice, and then 'learn' about Mustangs by taking on small improvement jobs on a car that is already fun to play with. These cars ARE easier to work on than most, however if you have little to no experience in mechanics, it's VERY...

    dolfan, any news....

Ok, here is what's going on. We have the 68-70 kits SOOOOOO close. Oboebrian hooked me up with a guy out of N.C. that is going to do our CNC work. I just talked with him today, and they are going to shoot us a quote on the parts we sent them (rough mock ups we did in the shop) within the next...

Anyone put a hydraulic clutch in? Looking for T-5 Slave ideas

I would go with the throwout bearing idea. It's cleaner, cheaper, and works awesome. We switched to that in our class 7 off road truck, and we haven't had a problem yet. 87

    Ronstang saves day....Roller 5.OOOOOHHHH conversion

I am sure we would be working together on both cars. However I refuse to move to California, and I know you are not going to give up your 75 degree days to move back to Hell. I am at the point where I want to see my car off the lift! That alone would be an accomplishment. :rlaugh...

You won't believe what I saw yesterday!!

I think it would be a blast to build a 200 I6. Something different is always kind of cool. 87

    Ronstang saves day....Roller 5.OOOOOHHHH conversion

This is hilarious. Glad you are happy with your new engine 65fastback, and I sure wish I had a Ronstang in my area. ;) I wind up working on my car by myself...always by myself. :( lol 87

    I'll build the header chart.......catagories?????

1970 Mach 1, 351W with Summit fabricated valve covers. Hedman shorty headers with 1 5/8 primarys, 3" collectors. Bolting them up to AFR heads required cutting the bottom of the flange to fit on the head on the drivers side. I had to bend the number seven exhaust tube away from the engine about...

"Historic" will be out of pocket.............

Oh give me a break with this load. Historic, I realize you really hate the idea of dumping cash into the suspension of a Mustang, but do you think I am here just to sell stuff? I have been on this website a heck of a lot longer than you, and I have made a lot of friends. It was the DEMAND by...

"Historic" will be out of pocket.............

Actually Hack, next chance you get, go for a ride in a Mustang with coil over front suspension. It makes a BIG difference in the way the car drives, and handles. To get an old Mustang to have a nice lowered stance, and handle well, requires cutting your coil springs, and almost all Stangs...

"Historic" will be out of pocket.............

I understand, and it can be. I was just trying to put the facts out there, so maybe in his own mind(bnickle's), he would feel a little vindicated. We all need that from time to time. :D 87

"Historic" will be out of pocket.............

Historic is on a mission, and I understand where he is coming from. However the facts don't lie. You don't have to feel concerned when he pipes in with his ideals. FACT is that transferring the spring load to the lower control arm improves the front wheel rate. Replacing the stock stamped...

RPM or Stealth Intake with this combo?

They are the 185's but with a stage 2 port job on them. Cam is a [email protected] duration, and 585 lift. I am running the RPM Airgap. Engine has never been fired, as I am still working on the car, but I followed a pattern of an engine built in MM&FF, and that engine popped out 505 hp at the crank. I...

Wish me luck. Car's officially on Ebay.

I think if a member has over a 100 posts, they should be able to do this type of thing. Nice car Cody, make sure and bring pics to the table of the new ride! 87

RPM or Stealth Intake with this combo?

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT waste your money calling Motor Machine & Supply for their almighty cam recommendation. I cannot stress enough what a waste of money and time talking to that guy was. I know MM&FF's says he is all that, but he was guessing at my cam...and that is putting it nicely. 87

    New GW coilover suspension....

I did, and found it hilarious. Our upper shock mount is way different, and our upper control arms are built comparably, except we have an offset ball joint (same screw in unit though) and rod ends for adjustability at the shaft. We are getting very close, as my uncle is meeting up with the...

    Got it fixed!

Sputtering under a steady throttle sounds like ignition, or metering in the carb. If your plugs are all good, check the wires, rotor cap...make sure everything is in good order. See if you can borrow a known good carb from a buddy, and see if that fixes it. These are free ways to de-bug...

    D2=1972 block...that's all I know. :D
