I still have an old NMRA real street neutral balanced 311 rotating assembly laying around, it ain't going in a cheap stock block I don't think lethal has updated it's site too well, they had stuff at pre covid prices for years when no one had any inventory. There about $2200 from most dealers...

Yes, there 363 from ford been out for years, ppl still moan about it like there building a 2k HP car. , those blocks where used in more than a few nmra cars. Only ppl moaning where parts sellers who didn't have a piston for the combo. The ford block has its set back in supporting parts costs...

Other then different gaskets and bolts I don't have an issue with it, some will say the skirts are too short... They obviously never worked on a coyote motor... Now go back to ignoring it, until it dips below $1500

Rtv, and flat flanges, I hate changing header gaskets and never met one that didn't eventually fail, hell there O ring heads on exhaust ports now on LS stuff. If you need a gasket I would look for a MLS coated design, I think cosmetic has some for sbf's but probably $50 plus a set. Something...

Blueprint blocks will probably hold just as well if not more then the shp, its better class 35 iron, dart even admits this talking about going to the same foundry... BP just kept it more for production stuff like the bolt sizes, summit all ready looking to change that on thiers they source...

Progress Thread BluePrint 347 long block engine swap

There's about 5 different factories knocking them out so quality is all over the place, have to know the differences in the castings from the molds to spot them, Some are better than others, blue prints air gap for the sbf wasn't out when the motortrend media stuff all shut down, it's better...

BPE doesnt cast anything, its was mostly china for stuff like that, the only thing they do is machine work in NE and better QC on parts they reject... There selling them just announced it at pri... Don't expect deals, kind of a captive market situation, darts using that german factory to now, since Daltons in chapter 11. same as summit as those are the bpe blocks and your forgetting how much dart was price gouging when demand was there before...

They will fit and work fine, exhaust face on the bpe heads are flat, so should probably seal better than on the old ones. I actually use a modified LS 1 7/8" swap header with those casting and the outside 3" bolt pattern vs the oem ford one, but I ported them a long time ago and was complete...

Requesting Guidance for 306 motor swap - Fuel? - SD? MAF?

Stock hood should fit, im guessing they used a spacer and taller valve covers though that raised it up. I like harwood for bolt on hoods but I'm biased and those things are priced stupid now + freight.

Requesting Guidance for 306 motor swap - Fuel? - SD? MAF?

Make sure he hooked up vacuum to the MAP on the firewall and there's no vacuum leaks, good idea to kind of treat them like old carb cars and check with a decent gauge or smoke test it... Lots off ppl forget about the MAP on the old Sd stuff, or leave it off because there used to mass air on...

    Temporary solution at best

Just make sure no family member, friends or coworker finds drugs and addiction, lost more tools to that then stuff I actually misplaced. They can sniff out easy money when they need it. They ignore the cheap hand tools.
