Using new Saleen urethane side skirts rather than the old thin fiberglass ones that spilt around the corners. Got them prepped and sanded and primed.

Many people will wonder why not buy a low 10k mile S-351 and keep it untouched because it will be worth more. This is the answer. These door fillers are oem untouched original and they are so wavy it hurts my eyes. If I bought a untouched Saleen...I would just redo it anyway because Of things like this.

all the variations in the next two pics are high and low spots in the factory piece.

After body working them for a couple hours. Ready for first prime. Still a long way from perfect

Another block and sand for the underside of the hood. Since this car won’t have a prop rod, why would we leave a hole? Fiberglassed that in and smoothed it and primer for the whole thing.

Since I hide all the wiring running thru the kickout in the wiper motor cover, I am smoothing that out and glassed it in. Then a little body work and primed the whole piece

Started working on the jambs. There was a hole drilled in the driver side trunk jamb for what looks like a paint less dent repair. I welded it up and started working them. Also welded up side skirt holes in the door jambs and started stripping paint and sanding
