Progress Thread “Rising from Ashes 2” 95 Saleen S-351 build

Thanks. I make it pretty slick so usually nothing sticks and I just hose them off after driving. Here’s the key to taking care of nice paint. Don’t freakin touch it. Don’t drive it somewhere and and then start wiping it down with towels, don’t clean a spot with ur shirt. Don’t put a car cover on it unless freshly washed. Only touch it when it’s wet and then cleaned and dry, you can wipe down. Worst case. 1hr with a buffer I can make any paint look good

If I’m ever in TN, I may be stopping by for an hour!! Lol.
Seriously, I could look at your pics all day long! Beautiful work! And I’m guessing it probably looks even better in person.

Went over the car by hand with some glaze. The shop dog finally approves of the paint

When you can tell you need to clean your finger nails in the reflection of a paint job then you might be a great painter/body man!!!
Oh, and there is a loose screw in the switch plate on the wall.
Just say'n

You really do some beautiful work! It's not going to happen anytime soon, but when it comes time I would love to bring my 65 up to Tennessee so that you could so it some love. As well as watch you in action as you relieve me of all my hard earned money!
